As a pledge class you all will organize a service event and Big/Little Fellowship event. The purpose of this page is to help with ideas, give you a guide on how to start the project, and putting the project into action!

Ahh! An Event to Plan! What are we going to do?

1.   Brainstorm, Brainstorm, Brainstorm

2.   Remember: Decide as a group on an event

3.   Pick a date that the majority can attend and watch for conflicting events.

4.   Take into consideration:

o       Special Clothing needed?

o       Equipment needed?

o       Is the event financially feasible?

5.   Take a leadership role!

6.   Set up outside meetings, if needed.

7.   Communicate with the chapter:

o       Announce the events at chapter meetings

o       E-mail the listserv

o       Send out reminders a couple of days before the event

8.   Have a sign-up sheet ready for chapter members

9.   Make directions for the event preferably from campus and arrange a common meeting place like University College.

10.         Don’t forget to take pictures at the event!
