Complete the following eight (8) activities during your pledge period:

 1. Attend all Pledge Meetings

Pledge meetings form the foundation for your Pledge Period.  Each meeting will help you develop in the areas of Leadership, Friendship and Service.

 2. Attend Two Active Chapter Meetings

Attending active chapter meetings gives you a better understanding of how the chapter operates.  Chapter meetings are held on Mondays at UL 1126 at 8:45 pm.

 3. Attend One Executive Meeting

Executive meetings give you a “behind-the-scenes” look on how the fraternity prepares for our chapter meetings.

 4. Complete 14 Hours of Service

Service is a key principle of Alpha Phi Omega.  You are required to complete 14 hours of service in order to become an active member. Five of these hours may be part of a service project not planned by the chapter.

 5. Join a Committee

You are the future of this fraternity, therefore, serving on a committee gives you another leadership opportunity within the chapter.

 6. Complete a Pledge Class Service Project

As a Pledge Class, you will coordinate and run a service project.  This helps to reinforce the principles of service as well as give you practical experience in setting up a project.

 7. Complete a Big Sibling and Little Sibling Fellowship Project

With your Big Siblings, you will be required to coordinate and run a fellowship event.

 8. Complete the Pledge Program

This involves passing all quizzes, completing the pledge book, reading the risk management policy, reading the chapter by-laws, and adhering to all chapter rules or obligations.  By completing the pledge education program in its entirety, you will be ready to contribute significantly as an active member.
