Reanda Jones joined us for the January 22 chapter meeting. Reanda pledged in 1997 and graduated IUPUI in 2004. She was a Physical Education Major. Since graduating she has worked at camps, for 2 summers in Las Vegas and a Diversity camp in Connecticut. She is currently working at Lonestar Steakhouse and substitute teaching and said that she is back for good! Reanda said that she enjoyed meeting new people, all the different service projects and making contacts during her time in APO. She was also George’s Big.
Dave Fleischhacker joined us for the September 25 chapter meeting, Dave pledged in the Fall of 2000 and held a variety of positions in the chapter. He was the Pledge Trainer, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Region VI Conference Chair, Voting Delgate to 2002 National Convention and is now the Region VI Parliamentarian. He is now enrolled in the IU School of Law - Indianapolis. He also works at the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University in the research department.
Jason Gabehart joined us for the Septmeber 18 chapter meeting, he pledged in the fall of 2001 and held the positions of PR Chair, Pledge Trainer, Treasurer, and President. Jason graduated in May of 2005. He is now working for Indy Parks as their grant writer.
Beth Moody and Rob Young joined us for the September 11 chapter meeting; at the meeting we all shared fun memories of Beth and Rob, Beth told the story of how her and Rob met each other and announced that they will be saying "I Do" in October. Rob is training to be a manager at Sky Bank and Beth is currently working in the Union Building as the Graduate Curriculum Corrdinator.
All the studying paid off for Juhmal Eastland, he will start Medical School in the fall!
Tim Lawson has recently started working for IUPUI, he is doing some training and tech work with the IU Foundation.
Vivian Ryan has joined the National Gaurd, she leaves for South Carolina at the end of June for boot camp and then will head to San Antonio, Texas for training, good luck, Vivian!!
Yontine Coleman has been busy with school and work all summer.
On February 9, Chimere Lawshe will be welcoming a little bundle of joy, everyone join me in saying "Congratulations!"
Beth Moody was working in the book publishing industry for a year and half and has now found her way back to IUPUI! She is working in the Graduate Office as their Curriculum Coordinator. She is also getting married to fellow alumni Rob Young in October. Afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Young will be residing on the South side of Indianapolis. Everyone please join me in saying "Congratulations and Good Luck!"
